Crude Oil Purchasing
Arroyo Terminals purchases various quality blends and gravities of crude oil typically through receiving truck deliveries at its truck rack located in Rio Hondo, Texas, or at its satellite yard in Brownsville, Texas.
The company’s unique policy is that it pays for all crude oil purchased within 24 hours of its delivery into our terminal system. The pricing structure is based on a preset discount to the actual days closing price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) on the day of delivery based on the NYMEX futures spot price at closing. The company enjoys a broad base of customers of various delivery volume capabilities.
Crude Oil Barging
The company owns and operates its own fleet of 30,000 barrel barges, which gives us unique capabilities to transport and market our crude oil product quickly, and efficiently to major oil companies dock facilities all along the Gulf Coast region.
Our terminal facility, dock, and assets all operate under the Federal jurisdiction of the Federal Maritime Commission and the regulations of the US Coast Guard.
